Count Me In! Activity Officer to take on Tewkesbury
The Count Me In! board is delighted to announce the appointment of the programme’s Activity Officer, Anj Patel.
Anj joined the team last month and will be tasked with co-ordinating, promoting, supporting and delivering activities as part of the Tewkesbury Healthy Towns Programme. Anj will be co-ordinating activities across the Count Me In! themes of Physical Activity, Healthy Eating and the Environment.
Andy Sanders, Count Me In! theme leader for Physical Activity, said: “We are really excited about Anj starting on the project. She is raring to go and is looking forward to meeting with community groups, businesses and schools in the area and letting them know how they can be part of Count Me In!”
Anj is looking forward to working as part of the Count Me In! programme, she said: “It’s great to have the opportunity to be a part of something that will change people’s lives for the better. It’s a really varied job which will see me co-ordinating all sorts of exciting activities, from street games to healthy eating – ensuring there’s something for everyone in Tewkesbury. I’m delighted to be involved.”
