Count Me In! is coming to the Food Festival
The Count Me In! team will be on hand at the annual Tewkesbury Food Festival with information on our project, what it involves and how it can help you to make changes for a healthier lifestyle.
The Count Me In! campaign is aimed at inspiring local residents of all ages to take part in a series of themed activities focussed on Food and Nutrition, The Environment and Physical activity.
We will offer advice on how you can grow your own foods, ways you can help to improve your community by combating congestion and ideas to encourage your friends and family to get active and shape up for a better future.
In support of the scheme is Rob Rees, The Cotswold Chef, who will be giving seminars throughout the day about cookery and healthy eating.
As well as finding out more information about the project, you will be able to enter the free Count Me In! healthy prize draw, with a chance of winning fabulous prizes including a month’s local gym membership.
Families are also invited to take part in the Festival’s Vegetable Olympics to test their athleticism with celery weight lifting and cabbage jumping! Winners get a Count Me In! trophy and healthy prize.
For everyone else there are plenty of balloons and stickers to keep the family happy!
We look forward to seeing you there – The Count Me In! team.
