Count Me In! to host winter activity events for young people
Count Me In! - the Healthy Towns Programme for Tewkesbury – will host two Winter activity days for young people during the school holidays.
On Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st December, youngsters aged 11 to 18 are invited to take part in the free activity days where they can learn archery, dance, circus skills, African drumming and also how to make a healthy lunch that is tasty too!
The activity days, which have been organised by Count Me In! in partnership with Young Gloucestershire, will be delivered by youth workers and held between 10am and 3pm at Tewkesbury Youth Centre, Priors Park, Link Road and Tewkesbury Baptist Church, Station Road on both days.
Tracy Clark CEO of Young Gloucestershire, said: “This is a great opportunity for young people to come together, have fun and get active in the lead up to Christmas. There are free activities for people of all ages and interests so I look forward to seeing a good turnout at the events.”
