Kids invited to enjoy the summer holidays for free with Count Me In!
Count Me In! has unveiled a Summer Schedule of FREE activities which will keep children in Tewkesbury entertained all summer long at the Count Me In! adiZone!
Every Thursday throughout the summer holidays families with children of all ages can take part in FREE, organised, fun and games, by simply turning up – plus they will be entered into a free prize draw to win a selection of sports prizes.
Count Me In! – the Government-funded initiative to make Tewkesbury a healthier place - is working with a range of partners to provide the fun-filled sessions. The activities, all of which must be supervised by parents, are held from 10am-4pm and activities include: dancing, under 7’s yoga, drama games, netball skills and free play. An Active Gloucestershire Inclusion Coach will be on site to coach people with disabilities.
Andy Sanders, Count Me In! board member for Physical Activity said: “We're delighted to provide children with a wide range of activities which will keep them entertained and safe throughout the summer. The activities we organised over the Easter Holiday were a huge success, and we're delighted to be hosting many of the summer activities at the new Count Me In! adiZone which is a fantastic venue to help children remain fit and entertained.”
