Walk 4 Life with Count Me In!
Do you enjoy getting out and meeting new people? Why not join us on one of our walks as part of the Count Me In! Walk 4 Life scheme.
The Count Me In! free walking scheme, organised through Tewkesbury Borough Council is part of the national Walking the Way to Health initiative (WHI) - a joint initiative between Natural England and the British Heart Foundation which aims to encourage people, particularly those who do little physical activity, to do regular short walks in their communities.
Walks last between 30 and 60 minutes and suitable for most people. All walks are led by volunteers who are trained to lead safe and effective walks. Joining these walks gives you a chance to meet new people as well as getting the health benefits!
The FREE walks are held in Tewkesbury on Mondays at 1:30pm – those interested should meet outside the Tewkesbury Abbey Refectory in Church Street.
People interested in finding out more information about the walks should contact Count Me In! activity officer Anj Patel on 01684 272190 or email her on: anj.patel@tewkesbury.gov.uk
